Design Lighting
The Avenue of the People is part of the Port Angeles Art on the Town project. It spans two block lengths on Laurel Street, in downtown Port Angeles, from the Coho Ferry terminal to the Downtown Fountain park. Bob Stokes created the Avenue of the People in 2007, from maquettes to installation of the 11 life-sized statues, each depicting a resident of Port Angeles, WA.
After months of planning and construction, the unveiling took place in 2008, in a public ceremony which included the original models.
